These Japanese denim jeans are crafted in Japan by Sugar Cane, a division of Toyo Enterprises, and their design is modeled after the classic look of the 501XX jeans from 1947. And then, they have been processed to recreate the look of faded denim, natural feel wear marks, creasing, timeworn seams, and subtle scuffs, that comes with affectionately wearing it over time. It's a pre-aged model that allows you to enjoy a vintage-like texture right from the time of purchase, capturing the charm of denim's natural aging process. Additionally, as part of the finishing process, it is pre-washed (also known as one-wash) to minimize shrinkage and to achieve a comfortable texture. With repeated wear and washing, the surface of the denim will have more hairy fibers and the leg will naturally skew in the direction of the twill line for old-fashioned look as vintage jeans. Made of a 100% cotton, non-stretch, 14.25 Oz. medium weight Japanese selvage pre-faded blue indigo denim woven with rope dyed indigo yarns in the warp and natural yarns in the weft, that features a unsanforized and unsinged right-hand twill construction without anti-twist process. These pre-faded denim jeans are designed with a stylish, classic regular straight fit that includes a button fly, high rise, and a leg that goes straight down to the opening, with a slight taper near the bottom. You can find the selvage on the inside of the outseam and inside the coin pocket. The denim features a rugged, slubby and neppy look that have a rough texture like the denims of vintage workwear. The denim is even tough, yet it remains a natural softness for comfort. Selvedge details ID can be seen along the interior outseam and inside coin pocket opening. Indigo yarn of this denim is dyed using the rope-dyeing technique. The outside of the yarn, which is repeatedly dyed using the indigo rope-dyeing technique, is dyed a deep indigo color, while the core of yarn does not absorb much dye and remains white. And the outside of indigo colored yarn fades through repeated wear and washing and the white core of yarn becomes more prominent. As a result, the high contrast between the faded blue and the white core gives a classic worn-in denim look. And the more you wear, the more denim will fade beautifully.
